MIH. We meet us in the halfway https://mihproject.eu/2010/10/22/mih-we-meet-us-in-the-halfway/ Fri, 22 Oct 2010 09:49:05 +0000 http://agora.grial.eu/fgarcia/?p=228 (Leer más)]]> The MIH (Multicultural Interdisciplinary Handbook) EU Project is just in the middle of its duration. We have fulfilled the EU control conditions, this way the first interim report (completed with all the public deliverables) was sent and we have an external evaluation report that shows the strengths and weaknesses of MIH.

At this point, the coordinator team is happy with the milestones achieved, but we are doing a very strong reflection exercise in order to face up the second and last part of the project. In a few days we will publish a first year summary of the project with the most important information and the schedule for the current and future work packages. Also, we are working in a deep review of the public site contents and all the public deliverables will be published soon.

Digital Modules Prototype https://mihproject.eu/2010/06/18/digital-modules-prototype/ Fri, 18 Jun 2010 09:23:29 +0000 http://grial.usal.es/blog/mihproject/?p=229 Digital modules will be hosted in a D-Space repository and the interface to access them is an interactive map with a timeline where, selecting a year, pins with the events for that year in the included countries (at the moment, the partners in the project) show up. Clicking in one of those pins, the most important data of that digital module will be shown, as well as a link to that digital module. There are different search criteria: by country, theme or year. You can see the prototype here.

The digital modules themselves will be available for download (Creative Commons BY-NC-SA license) as a whole, in html, SCORM or IMS packages and also individually each of their elements. Each module has a simple interface, with sections divided into tabs. The initial tab shows the author data, the license and the project logo. The “Presentation” section shows the contents of the module, the academic level it has been designed for and a summary. There is one section for each of the contents and another section with self-testing activities. Finally, there is a last section with “More info”, with links, bibliography and other resources that complement the contents seen. Each module has a student’s view and a teacher’s view, which adds more information and gives solutions to questions posed. Modules will be translated in the languages of all partner countries. You can see the prototype here.
